All applicants should possess a high school diploma or GED. Non-high school graduates and foreign applicants interested in the Commercial Truck Driving program are required to take a nationally recognized Ability to Benefit (ATB) test to determine whether or not they have the ability to benefit from our training and can read and comprehend the material that will be presented in the program. A passing score on this test will be acceptable in lieu of a high school diploma or GED.
However, North American Trade Schools encourages each student to pursue a GED or a high school diploma.
